Marty Britton is the President & CEO of Britton Management Profile Inc, the first ever reference checking company in Canada. Incorporated in 1974, Britton Management Profiles has been in business for over 40 years. BMP helps their clients make informed hiring decisions so that they can hire the best talent available. The company has a strong global presence and can conduct checks in a variety of countries.
When Marty took over the company from her father, the late David Britton 24 years ago, the only service the company offered was reference checking. Marty has since added a wide range of pre-employment screening services to their list of products from criminal and credit checks, global sanctions, fingerprinting, education, employment verifications, and exit interviews. In addition to this, they are excited to now offer social media checks by using the power of artificial intelligence to complement and enhance the ability to spot employment risk in advance of a hire.
Britton Management Profiles is a member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) and Marty sits on the board for the Canadian Chapter of NAPBS. The company is a diverse supplier and is certified members of WBE Canada and WEConnect International. Marty is also a proud member of Women’s President Organization, a peer-to-peer advisory committee board in which Marty is actively involved in.
