Rashmi joined TD in January 2015 as the AVP for Learning and Development.


Prior to joining TD, Rashmi worked in the Telecom industry with Rogers communications.  At Rogers, Rashmi worked within distribution channel, Customer Experience and the Media business groups as well as in Learning & Enablement where she was accountable for 75% of the L&E operating budget.


Highlights of her career include the interim Vice President for Learning at Rogers, creation of a dedicated IT learning vertical, deployment of an enterprise wide Knowledge Management system and customer learning curricula.  In 2019, Rashmi transitioned from the HR department to the Retail organization as a District Vice President accountable for both performance and leading a large distributed workforce.


Finally, she created a talent pool for emerging leaders with an annual    20% attrition into the business.  Rashmi was a regular executive involved with mentorship, storytelling and virtual coffees to narrow the gap between the executive teams and first time managers.


Outside of work, Rashmi has two boys who are active in hockey and spends much of her evenings and weekends traveling to different arenas in the GTA. Rashmi is active with both The Daily Bread Food bank and ACCES Employment Agency.
